Find out how we helped Westbeach conquer new territories

After deciding to launch three new ecommerce stores across the UK, US and Canada, Westbeach needed an integration platform to support their expanding territories. By connecting their ecommerce, ERP and 3PL platforms, we gave Westbeach a global, real-time view of their operations.

The challenge

Westbeach is a worldwide snow and streetwear brand with online stores and concessions globally. Like many established businesses, Westbeach was experiencing issues with legacy, siloed systems including data inaccuracies and the inevitable impact these factors have on customers and staff. Launching a robust ecommerce platform and moving past cumbersome manual data inputting for stock and pricing became imperative for continued growth. Having implemented NetSuite ERP in 2016, Westbeach wanted to deploy a new ecommerce platform to support expanding territories, as well as being fully integrated with NetSuite. Their aim was also to maximise the true potential of NetSuite by syncing the data between their warehouse and logistics systems.

The solution

Westbeach selected Shopify Plus to launch new ecommerce sites in three territories – UK, USA and Canada. Patchworks integrated Shopify Plus with NetSuite and converted the initial site to the new global platforms, easing the implementation and saving Westbeach considerable time manually inputting the data. Patchworks also delivered connectivity of Westbeach’s 3PL software with NetSuite to unify their logistics across all systems. With the warehouse being located outside the UK, in Canada, this gave Westbeach a 360 up-to-the-moment view of their business from anywhere, at anytime. No disruption to business efficiency during the process meant Westbeach could confidently continue with the day-to-day until the project was complete.

The results

Westbeach is now making significant time, resource and financial savings with their systems fully integrated.

29% revenue increase in year one YoY
